Etched wine glasses

One of my girlfriends is getting married soon!  We all know what that mean, bachlorette parties and bridal showers.  A few us girls are headed to Nashville. TN to enjoy the sites and the sounds of the music city.  Or couartcrafts, default,sc.rse as soon as the weekend was planned I threw myself into full planning mode.

The future bride and I had similar thoughts about making personalized goodies for the girls that are helping to celebrate the up coming nuptials.  The bride wanted to create some etched wine glasses for each of the women in attendance.  The etched wine glasses turned out fabulous. Go grab your bottle of wine, your going to want to fill that puppy up as soon as your done.

Let's begin!

First you will need your wine glass(or glass item you want to etch).  Any item that is round or has a curve is a tad bit harder to etch then a flat surface.

For this project I cut the stencil sticker out using my cricut.  Picking the design I think is the hardest part.  I have so many programed images/fonts its hard to decide how I want the final outcome to look.  If you don't have a cricut, you can certainly use your silhouette machine if you have one, or buy Martha Stewart sticker stencils.  You can find them at Michaels craft stores.
